About City Technical Services
City Technical Services was founded in Rutherglen, near Glasgow by Willie and Susan Haughey back in 1985 and are a leader in the provision of technical and mobile refrigeration services to the UK's licensed trade. This is supported by a growing rentals and a new but highly successful gas division.
City Technical Services are industry leaders with a tremendous customer base, including such blue chip names as Scottish Courage, Budweiser and Coors.
The success of CTS over the years has been down to the tremendous commitment, passion and can-do attitude of the City people. The skill level of CTS engineers in refrigeration, dispense and HVAC services, is simply second to none.
City Technical Services is part of City Refrigeration Holdings, who employ almost 6500 people and provide facility management services to amongst others Asda. A 10 year contract was signed with WalMart / Asda this year to provide facilities management for 246 stores in the UK. City aim to employ 25,000 people by 2005, turnover in excess of £500 million and be recognised as the UK's best employer.
